Magnus Lundgren is a seasoned Chief Supply Chain and Procurement Officer with nearly 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical / life sciences / healthcare and consumer packaged goods industries. He has held C-suite roles for large public companies over the past 10 years and most recently he was brought in as the Chief Procurement Officer for Solventum, the Healthcare BU spin off (Apr 2024) from 3M.

As the CPO of Solventum he manages their entire external supplier base including contract manufacturing with a global team, using his deep expertise within leadership and organizational development, transformation, P/L margin expansion, working capital, risk, innovation, sustainability and diversity. He has worked for some of the most recognized Fortune 500 companies within their respective fields such as Procter & Gamble, DIAGEO, GE Healthcare, Fresenius Medical Care, Stanley Black & Decker as well as for privately held Mars Inc/M&M’s.

As an expert and proven leader within his field Magnus regularly speaks at Procurement and Supply Chain conferences both in the US and in Europe, staying abreast of current and developing trends, more recently investing in and making forays into AI supported RFX and CLM software.

He holds a MSC degree in Chemical Engineering and Organic Chemistry from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.

Magnus has worked and lived in five countries, and he currently resides with his wife and two children in the suburbs of Boston, MA.
