Scott built his career in domestic and international business development with over twenty years of domestic and global sales and sales leadership roles. While Scott has worked across industry verticals, his focus on the consumer goods sector and utilization of a comprehensive and unique skillset for scaling businesses through calculated business development has been instrumental in the long-term growth of consumer goods enterprises.
Scott began his business development career with AriZona Beverages leading DSD and direct business ultimately stemming the decline of the AriZona brand over his tenure before moving to OTC Pharma with Solgar Vitamin and Herb, a division of Wyeth Consumer Healthcare and then on to Rx Pharma with AstraZeneca engaging in sales, sales training, sales strategy, and sales force effectiveness. Scott also spent time leading business development for a tech startup with a focus on global business development in the consumer goods vertical. As such, he has gained a deep knowledge base and appreciation for global differences in markets and methodology for dealing with clientele across borders. Importantly, Scott has been uniquely positioned as a trusted business advisor to some of the most powerful and iconic brands, and leaders, in the consumer goods space.
Scott has consulted in a variety of industries ranging from renewable energy components to industrial machinery to consumer goods enabling the organizations he has worked with to achieve profitable growth by understanding their cost structure and building strategies for value creation. Scott’s consulting experience has included early and late-stage product launches as well as mature market products. Scott attributes the bulk of his career outcomes to successfully applying his critical thinking skills with his existing and new clients. He is highly experienced in developing and leveraging relationships with customers to build high-value, sustainable solutions for early and mature products in the global marketplace. Scott has spent the last 10 years working for The Gap Partnership leading multiple client teams to design organizational negotiation culture for multinational clients positioning these clients to optimize their commercial success through negotiation. Scott is a Partner at The Gap Partnership. Scott holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Vermont as well as an MBA from Union Graduate College. He is based in Downingtown, Pennsylvania where he resides with his beautiful wife and two lovely children.
